FAQ

This curriculum was developed with the consideration of Social Justice Standards from https://www.learningforjustice.org/frameworks/social-justice-standards

Our current courses are  designed with 6th-9th grade students in mind. The core content of the curriculum can be supplemented to become suitable for higher grades.

This curriculum was designed with the intent of providing students with a depend understanding of DEIJ related aspects. Students who successfully complete this curriculum will have a foundation of terminology, language and awareness  that will help support further conversation and action in the realm of DEIJ.

Please feel free to contact us directly via email and share your feedback. DEIJ work is ever evolving and multi-faceted. There are various definitions for many of the terms and concepts, unfortunately we’re unable to cover every aspect despite our best intentions to be inclusive.

Yes, the plan is to build out curriculum that supports various areas of student need. DEIJ does not exist in a vacuum and other SEL skills can be a direct aid in this work. Stay tuned!

We’re always open to suggestions to improve and expand our resources. Please let us know your thoughts via email support@deijly.com
